Dress Yourself Like Golf’s 25 Million Dollar Man

Dress Yourself Like Golf’s 25 Million Dollar Man

Scottie Scheffler just wrapped up an absolutely incredible season, both on and off the golf course. His eight wins earned him a gold medal, a green jacket, a second Players win and the Tour Championship. He also welcomed a baby to his life and spent some time in jail, but those stories are for another day.

That’s because Scheffler’s efforts on the course at East Lake to end the season also earned him a FedExCup, and the $25 million dollar prize that goes with it. And while we kept a close eye on his impressive recovery shots and clutch putts in Atlanta, we also took notice of his Nike outfits as well. Because if any of us ever have a chance to win $25 million dollars on the golf course, knowing what to wear is half the battle.

The Shirt(s)

Helping Scheffler look good on the course and then hoisting a big trophy afterward was the Nike Dri Fit Tour Jacquard Shirt in Honeydew / Sea Glass. Its moisture wicking performance fabrication helped keep Scottie dry and comfortable, and the built in stretch allowed for his movement without restriction. And what a great color!

The rest of Scheffler’s four days on the course included the Nike Dri Fit Tour Stripe Shirt in White / Black, the Dri Fit Tour Heather Shirt in Light Arctic Pink and the Dri Fit Tour Stripe Shirt in Lilac Bloom.

The Pants

For his pants, Scheffler went with the Nike Tour Repel Chino Slim Pants on Sunday, which offer four mesh lined pockets, stretch to keep him moving with ease and sweat-wicking fabric with a water-repellent finish.

The Kicks

On his feet, the world’s top player always used to prefer the Air Zoom Tiger Woods shoes, complete with the visible TW logo on the bottom. That is up until this season, however, where Nike is no longer making/pushing the TW line and Woods has gone off and started his own brand. And while Scheffler’s shoes are showing off the Nike swoosh instead of the TW, they still appear to have features similar to both the Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 NRG and Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 NRG '24.

The Rest

Scheffler’s headwear was similar to this Nike Dri-Fit Club cap, which is flexible and sweat-wicking for those long rounds. His glove was the Nike Tour Classic IV, which has premium leather with stretch zones for range of motion and perforations for breathability. And the belt holding everything in place was the Nike Multi-Stretch Woven, a lightweight option with enhanced stretch for increased comfort.

The Ball

For one of his most important pieces of equipment, Scheffler has loved the Titleist Pro V1 for years, and that was no different when it came to having $25 million on the line at East Lake. The ball is designed to deliver longer distance along with greenside spin and control, using new aerodynamic, cover, casing layer and core technologies.
