Top 5 Fashion Moments From the 2024 PGA Championship

The 2024 PGA Championship wrapped up at Valhalla Golf Course in Kentucky on Sunday, with Xander Schauffele winning his first ever major in wire-to-wire fashion. And sure, he may be putting the Wanamaker Trophy next to his Olympic gold medal, but Schauffele doesn’t have the honor of being a part of our top five fashion moments from this year’s PGA. And something tells us he’ll be ok with that. But either way, here is a look at some of the best looks from Valhalla, and how you can achieve them for yourself.

5. Billy Horschel on Sunday

Decked out in RLX Golf apparel as per usual, Billy Horschel drained a long eagle putt on 18 during the final round to secure just his second top ten in a major in over ten years. And with the major season only half-way over and a couple of big months ahead, it’s fitting that he ended the tournament wearing the Featherweight AirFlow Jersey shirt in a color called Summer Blue. Let’s go Billy-Ho!

4. Tony Finau on Friday

Tony Finau did what he does best during the PGA Championship, and that’s hang around near the top of a major leaderboard. And while many of the Nike players were scripted in fairly simple and mostly solid colors, Finau continued his looks from The Masters and leaned into patterns, like with the DriFit Tour Micro Print shirt in Blue Tint he wore on Friday.

3. Viktor Hovland All Week

It’s no surprise that Viktor Hovland was once again threatening to win his first major at the PGA, and it’s also no surprise that he was once again among the most flashy dressers at a major. His J. Lindeberg KV Tour Golf shirt in Estate Blue was a nice way to start the week, putting the flash into all the small details like the branding on the ribbing of the sleeves. His loudest look came on Friday in the Tour Tech Reg Fit Print shirt in Savanna Estate Blue, before closing things out on Sunday in the light and bright Mat Tour Golf shirt in a color called Spa Retreat, paired perfectly with white pants and a solo third place finish.

2. Colin Morikawa on Sunday

He may have ultimately fallen short of claiming his third major title – that’ll happen when you don’t make a birdie until 18 on Sunday – but Colin Morikawa had perhaps the sharpest look during the final round, especially among the leaders and those who got the most TV coverage. His Adidas Ultimate365 Textured shirt in the color Preloved Ink (dark gray) with matching pants and belt was a super simple yet effective look, especially when paired with his white hat and shoes.

1. Nike Shoes

Nike footwear made a nice showing at the PGA Championship, in part because a handful of players were seen wearing the Air Jordan 1 Low G Spikeless in Wolf Grey, including Phil Mickelson and eventual top ten finisher, Justin Rose.

But the real winner in fashion for the second major of the year was defending champion Brooks Koepka and his Air Zoom Infinity Tour Next% NRG 2 shoes. The colors Light Iron Ore, Baroque Brown and Sail pay homage to Kentucky’s rich bourbon history, and add uniqueness to an already eye-catching design.
