Stars and Pars: See What Travis Kelce and Others Were Wearing in Lake Tahoe

The stars were out in Lake Tahoe this past week, and no we’re not talking about the gorgeous scene at night while gazing up through the trees – although that is pretty cool. But rather we’re talking about the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament held at Edgewood Tahoe, featuring professional athletes – both active and retired – along with actors, musicians, media personalities and everything in between.

And perhaps the biggest athlete/celebrity on the course, or athlebrity rather, was Travis Kelce, whose love life and own personal style have seemingly made more headlines than his football career this past year – and he won a freaking Super Bowl! For the three day golf event, which uses the modified Stableford scoring system, Travis finished solo 63rd out of a field of 90, ahead of his brother Jason Kelce who ended up at 87th. But it was that signature Travis style and charisma that made him one of the most followed, photographed and talked about players during the whole event.

So here’s a look at how Travis, along with the actual tournament winner, dressed the part this year in Lake Tahoe.

In His Golfer Era

Decked out in Nike all three days, Travis stuck out with the bold look of the DriFit Tour Texture Blade Shirt in Bicoastal on day one, keeping it fairly monotone with his pants to really highlight the shirt’s unique color. The second day was the football star’s brightest day, with the DriFit Tour Ombre Print Shirt in Daybreak paired nicely with the DriFit Victory Flat-Front Khaki pants. For the final round he was all about taking care of business in a black version of this DriFit Tour Texture Blade Shirt.

Travis also wore Jordan golf shoes throughout, going with custom versions but seeming to prefer a more basketball-esque style like the Air Jordan 9 G Golf Shoe.

The Winning Looks

Travis may have won the popularity contest at the American Century, but it was former tennis player Mardy Fish who won the actual tournament, firing off a 26-point final round to finish at 83 points total for the event. Fish wore TravisMathew all three days, and especially stuck out early on with prints like the Five Oh Shirt in Quiet Harbor and the Caught Inside Shirt in White. And he kept his head in the game with his own tournament-branded version of The Patch Hat in various colors.

Honorable Mention

Also looking sharp in TravisMathew on the course this year were a few former baseball players in John Smoltz and Mark Mulder. The latter of which looked comfy and hip in the Good Time Feeling Shirt, a subtly perfect look for summer at the lake. And former NFL star Jerry Rice showed plenty of his signature bling for the fans in attendance, and he did it using the Nike DriFit Victory+ CRS HTC Shirt in Midnight Navy as his backdrop.

Now you too can dress like the stars when they golf! Just try and do the actual golfing part better than most of them, if you can.
