Here at Fairway Styles we take pride in the fact that we are on the cutting edge of golf apparel. The G-MAC by Kartel is a prime example of a brand on the cutting edge. The new arrivals are in for the Autumn and Winter collection and, we must admit, there is no shortage of style and elegance in the new releases.
The G-MAC collection is a collaboration between Graeme McDowell and Kartel clothing. Kartel has been making golf apparel for over a quarter century. As an Irish brand, they have partnered with some of Ireland’s biggest names including Padraig Harrington and McDowell as well as being the official clothing supplier for the Ricoh Women’s British open in 2009 and 2010. During this time they have increased distribution to 26 countries and they have never had more visibility on the PGA and European Tours than they do now.
McDowell has long been known as a stylish and unique golfer. There are many interviews over the years where it has been clear that Graeme is definitely comfortable in his own skin. Over the years he accumulated many different articles of clothing, which he describes as a “modern vintage” look. Kartel aimed to capture that look and help bring it to all golf wardrobes. With Graeme being a very high level performer on the golf course (he won the U.S Open in 2010 at Pebble Beach), he has helped to make sure that the clothes are not only stylish, but that the quality and functionality of the clothes will fit a golfer’s game.
The new arrivals for this fall include new polos from the Portrush and Malone series. These shirts are made with a swing in mind as they move with your body and do not restrict any motion of your swing. The rich colors also add a bit of flair when you are making your way around the course. The Melvin shirt gives you the chance to take this style with you off the course and into the world with a spread collar and a weave made of 100% European cotton. Finish off the ensemble with an Archie cardigan and McSuper Trousers, both made of mercerized wool, and you will have a stunning but functional outfit for the course or the pub (or both). We encourage you to check out all of our new arrivals and create a style that is all your own!
